Can son claim property after death of divorced remarried mother

My parents got seperated legally and I their only son lived with father and my mother got married to another person after some years. Now she had died with no will, can I be one of her claimer in her owned properties. As she had no children from second marriage and only her second husband is alive. Please advice, Thanks

Absolutely you can. However, speedy action must be taken. File a partition suit at the earliest. The sooner you act, the better your chances of getting your share. Further and better particulars are needed for an effective opinion.
