Can sister claim on ancestral property even after my father’s will?
26-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
My father wants to create a will on my name, disowning the siblings for various reasons. I understand they will have the right to claim and challenge the will after my father’s death but can this be avoided by some having eyewitnesses or any other documents.
Your query is a bit confusing. First of all in case of an ancestral property your father cannot write a Will and transfer the property in your name. Will can be written only with respect to the self earned properties only. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.
