Can property be divided into pieces if it has living tenants

i am tenant living in amritsar. my owner(s) wish to partition the property by metes and bounds. Can a property be divided by metes and bounds, if it has living tenants?
No he can not bounds with your possessioned area because according your term of tenancy if your tenancy of under period the owner can not interfere with your possessioned area and he cannot take any interfere with you tenant property so your can filed a civil suit and you can stay all proceding who apply with your property owner
