Can mother claim share in grandfathers property when there is no will

Hi, my grandfather(mothers dad) has 4 womens and 1 boy. He had 10 acres of land. Before he deid he transfered his land to his son through MRO office(patta), but it was not registered. He died in 2015. He did not written any will. Can my mother claim the share from that property. Please advise. Regards, Ravi

Yes your has a right to claim a share in her father's property she can file a case for partition of property she can also File a case for specific performance as it is a unregistered patta and he also did not write any will
