Can a joint ownership transfered as single owner even if d co- owner is alive. I am the 1st owner
The co-owner can register a Release/ Relinquishment Deed in your favour thereby renouncing his share to your name. This is a registered document on stamp paper and both parties and witnesses have to sign. Thereafter you can apply for Khata in single name.
