whether a Hindu dies after the commencement of the Hindu Succession (amendment) act ,2005 , his interest in the propertu of a hindu family goverened by mitakshara law shall devolve by testamentary or inteeastate succession as the case may be , under this act & not by survivorship & the coparcentary property shall be deemed to have been divided as if a partition held take place & the share of the predeceased son or a predeceased daughter as they would have got had been alive at the time of partition shall be allotted to the surviving child of the of predeaceaed son or daughter., if your grandfather property is ancestral .if your grandfather property is self occupied then he has full right to dispose his property according to his will.
