04-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi i want to take a shop on lease but what i am finding is many land lords are doing today is after a year happens they discontniue the lease and open their own shop of business which was previously opened by rented person so i just wanted to know is there any agreement that we can make during signing the agreement so that after we left the shop no same business should open with different name after i left the shop.

You cannot stop the owner of the property to use his property in any manner he deems fit. He may open a shop if she wishes to. But you may get your business idea patent protection which will allow you to sue those who try to copy it.
