Sir an NRI who has an agricultural land in India is agreed to sell his land to me. I talked to the brother of the owner of the land. The brother has not got any power of attorney to sell the land also. Now the brother asks me to issue a cheque in the seller's name as advance. Since the seller is staying in US neither i can make an agreement to buy the land with owner nor with her brother as he has no power of attorney. Should I issue him a Post dated cheque or not?
