Bought a property which has a charge on it

I have purchased an ancestral property from the daughter of a Hindu family. Her father has not written any will and she has purchased the property from her brother. Problem : Her brother has borrowed some money from a party and he did not return the same. So, the party has filed a case in the court against him with a promissory note claiming the property sale is not valid and he needs the money back from her brother. Her brother have two minor twins and she has a daughter and son. Please suggest how to deal in this case ?

Secondly if the brother has sold the same to sister was it before the money been borrowed or later stage, dates are very important to come to conclusion.
