Being an NRI How can I claim Land sold by my father without my consent
12-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
Dear Legal Advisors, I was staying in USA for more than 8 years, and recently I visited India because of my father's sudden demise in 2018. Upon arrival I came to know lots of issues happening related to properties within my family, I also came to know that my father has sold our land which is actually our ancestral property from our grandfather without my consent about 4-5 years back i.e. in 2014. Please let me know how can I proceed further in claiming our property back. Thanks for your time and advise.
You can file for cancellation of sale deed to declare the sale deed as void. Consult for further details and required documentation. We need to know possession over property and the place where it is situated.
