Ancestor property disputes between brothers and sisters
20-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My case is like this:
My grandfather died and my uncles within two weeks of his passing away made the documents and made all sisters sign the documents that they do not want the share of the property and my uncles with that document removed the names of sisters from the property and put only uncles names ( Sons of grandfather. ) That time in deep grief sisters signed the documents but now feels that their brothers cheated on them by taking their signatures and removing them from the property. Its about 10 year old story.
Can these sisters take their rights back by going to court?
Please advise.
Thanks & Regards
This is my response to you:
1. You will have to clearly state what kind of documents?
2. Release deed or a simple NOC?
3. Please inquire about the same;
4. They can file a suit in the civil court;
5. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
