Address in Property papers is different than the present address
12-May-2023 (In Property Law)
We are living in Delhi from more than 35 years. We have the property papers as per old khasra number but at present address that we use in every document and bills is completely different. We want to register our property to sell it. What could happen? We don't know the original seller of the property is alive or dead and where he lives now? What should we do in such case? We are in doubt whether we have the right papers for the property or not as per Government. Actually this problem came into force when we tried to apply for a new electricity connection on our address. The address we have on our electricity bills is different then the one we have on our property papers, hence our application got rejected because of this mismatch of address. What do we do? Please give some suggestions.
