Divorce according to the Muslim law

My name is Asam khan and I am from Alwar Rajasthan. I want divorce from my wife. She live separately from me since last 15 month. When I talked to her for living together she gave me warning to attempt suicide. Please help me.
You can give divorce after contacting a lawyer and according to latest law you cannot give divorce from any social media thing so plz be sure about it. Check latest laws and discuss it with a lawyer having experience about it.
