GOVERNMENT JOB POLICE VERIFICATION SUBJECTED TO FIR UNDER 279/338

Respected All, On 8 May,2019 i was hoing somewhere neither i was rash nor i was driving my bike negligently,but somehow i met with an accident which causes the an old man (65 yrs) hurt,He had some grave injuries in his leg, i took him to hospital . Inspite of very begging & requesting he filled an FIR against me under sections 279and 337, but i know later on it will be convert into 279/337 as he had fracture. i am a govt job aspirant and my age is just 22 years. How will this situation affect my career and police verification If I got selected for some govt Job.?? My bike was not insured old guy was asking such a huge amount of 3 lakhs which we cant provide.
