FIR lodged against me without taking my statement

Sir/Madam,
Met with accident because of counter party mistake. I approached police station to file FRI but police said small vehicle person has to file compliant hence they have not taken my Complaint or statement. Police lodged FIR against me without taking my complaint or written statement and not specified complete facts . How to protest myself as not faulty .
if you have given a complaint area please ensure that you get a CSR of the particular copy. kya complaint is not taken we can file a private complaint and asked the court to give direction to the police to take the complaint and file an FIR
