I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN HAVING DRIVING LICENCE TO DRIVE LIGHT MOTOR VEHICLE AND TWO WHEELER. NOW I WISH TO ATTACH 2 EXTRA WHEELS TO MY SCOOTER ON THE BACK SIDE. SHOULD I GET THE PERMISSION FROM RTO FOR THIS? ALSO SHOULD I INFORM INSURANCE COMPANY. KINDLY CLARIFY. REGARDS

In this case, alter the motorbike with help of authorised workshop and get detail modification letter and bill ( along with insurance, pollution certificate and weighbridge bill ) finally make alteration application through Parivahan website along all above-said papers approach Reginal transport officer to modify of additional wheel and difference wight in your RC book.
