Boyfriend's liability to pay for damages for wrecking girl's truck

My boyfriend was driving my truck and hit a pole. He has no vechicle and I just have liability insurance. If I took him to court, do you think a judge would make him pay for the damages?

As such you can file case for recovery after you pay the bill. But please be sure that you can prove by FIR or DDR that he was driving.
Under MACT Act you cannot claim anything as it was you who permitted him to drive your vehicle.
