Promotional Activity for free medical equipment is it permissible

Hi.. My question is this permissible in India law regarding offering of Medical equipment free (i.e. Glucometer) by promoting and advertisement campaign.Healthcare service provider can do promotional & advertisement activity for offering of free product.
1. This is not a medical negligence query and the same is related to commercial laws.
2. Anyway, as promotional campaign you can provide free equipment but the same cannot continue for long to effect the healthy competition in market of that product.
