After locking rapists, rape survivor escapes with their mobiles as evidence

May 15, 2018

Citizens of India have been fuming post the Kathua and the Unnao rape incidents. The Centre recently brought in an outstanding law to award death penalty to rapists in cases where the victim/ survivor is 12 years or younger in age.

In an extremely rare incident, an 18-year-old girl showed an amazing presence of mind after allegedly being abducted and gang-raped by 2 men by taking away their mobile phones while escaping.

This not only made her escape possible but also helped the Police in identifying the accused who had fallen asleep after consuming liquor.

The culprits namely Shaikh Salam and Shriram Shribas had tied the survivor and forced her to consume liquor and eventually gang-raped her twice. Ultimately, they even subjected her to unnatural sex.

Both the culprits are regular criminals and are presently absconding. The survivor is a first-year college student who aspires to become a beautician.

The survivor while leaving home for the beauty parlor where she is presently undergoing training was abducted and later gang-raped.
