1. Check for title on the papers of the property.
2. Check if property has been registered.
3. Check if it has been approved by Banks.
4. Check if there are any pending mortgages on the property.
5. Check the constructed area as well as the sanctioned area.
6. Check for occupancy certificate.
7. Check if property tax has been paid and cleared.
