Tenant filed OS against landlord under CPC 29

Tenant filed OS against landlord,and refusing to pay rent. Wat is the next step the landlord should take.
According to this issue, when tenant filed OS, the landlord should submit counter through advocate in appropriate Court. everything will be under consideration. if the argument goes in a right way, the landlord May get the right order from the Honorable Court in favour of landlord. but when trial is going the tenant should deposit the rent in the court itself.
