Sub leasing commercial property to LESSOR by LESSEE
31-Jan-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
Hello Sir/Madam, Could you please let me know if there any legal/statutory objections in subleasing a portion of the commercial property to the Lessor (owner of the property) by the Lessee.
Thanks & Best regards
Lavanya K
Hello Lavanya,
There will be no objection if the landlord is not having any objection in subleting the said room to someone else. But if incase you sub lease without the consent of the landlord than you might be in a trouble as there is always a clause being mentioned in the agreement that you can not sublease the tenanted property.
Thank you
