Procedure in case shop has been wrongly possessed by tenants

I have bought a already rented shop and then started recieving rent for 3 years and afterwards the tenant closed the shop and got untraceable. From next year onwards an another person started doing the shop and he is running it from last 8 years. Due to my personal family circumstances i didnt went to my shop and asked him who u are?. So now what legal case can i file?. Pls advice

have you received rent from the unathorised tenant in the shop. if no then you can file ejectment petition against the tenant on the ground of subletting because no tenant has got any right to pass the tenancy to any new tenant.
