My friends cheated on me by saying signature not hers in the agreement

Me and my friend signed a agreement ..that time she was absent so i signed in her place by asking her on phone.now after few months she wants to leave the room and saying that her signature was not her's .what can i do for it??

Unless and until the landlord initiates any action against your roommate, there is nothing to worry about. I don’t think that the landlord will file any civil suit for suing her for breach of agreement/contract. In case he actually does that then you might be made a party to the case since it was a tripartite agreement and you can also be called as a witness in the case. All you have to do is to state the truth before the Court. You should try to bring the landlord in your confidence so that he doesn’t take any action against you.
Its a small matter and happens quite commonly. If the land load is threatening the roommate by saying that he will file a case, then most probably he is only trying to extort some money from her and i don’t think that he actually intends to take any legal action.
