Left the pg in 10 days, owner demanding rent for the whole month

Sir I am student I was residing in Chandigarh I shifted a pg on 9th in sector 16 .I filled all the legal form of pg and i gave them 6500 rs 5500 pg rent plus 1000 security I was not aware about the owners intention my mistakenly I signed in the agreement of 3 months they did not even tell me about that... After a week on 19th due to some circumstances I left that pg and shifted in my home town now I got mails of owners they are demanding 16000 chargers I got calls and mails from them. Now they are mailing they will fill a suit against me. What should I do ?

In my opinion, the owner of the PG is trying to build a pressure in order to get more money from you. Most probably he doesn’t intend to actually file a suit for recovering the amount. In case he actually files a suit against you for damages due to breach of the contract then you will have to fight the suit. It is a mistake on your part to sign the agreement without reading the terms of the agreement.
