Landlord locked me inside my home during the cyclone what can i do.

Chennai was recently hit by a major cyclone on 12 dec, monday. My landlord locked me inside my room which is on the roof of her house by latching the wooden door from inside. I could not go out or seek help in case of emergency. Her reason to do so was because rain water was coming inside her building. Is it right to do so? M very disturbed due to this. Please help.
Did he do it on purpose or he wanted to safeguard you from going outside. If he has done it on purpose you can file complaint against him with the local police and you need to prove it. if not then you cannot take any action against him.
