Kindly Answer to the question....relating with the servant quarters

A Watchman of a factory was allowed to occupy the factory quarters and from his salary a portion was deducted as charges for the quarters. a) fee deducted would come within the definition of rent b) unless the payment is specific towards the rent for the premises the payment is not toward rent c) it is only permissive occupation Hence the question of payment of rent would not arise d) when no receipt was issued for the payment made it is not rent Hint-- There is no landlord tenant relationship between them

Even though no formal rental agreement has been executed between the employer and the servant, the very conduct of the employer in allowing the servant to occupy the factory quarters against deduction of certain amount from the servant's salary monthly implies existence of landlord-tenant relationship.
