Can I file a case for recovering rent if lease deed not registered
13-May-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I rented my land to 3 partnership firm .the lease deed was not registered, but noterified.can I sue for recovering rent?
This is my response to you:
1. Yes you can sue them for the rent to be paid to you;
2. You can send them a legal notice to them;
3. You must also initiate recovery proceedings before the civil court if they don't respond to the legal notice;
4. The notarised paper is very important document;
5. Also verify if the partnership firms have registered the rent agreement? Because this registration can be done online;
6. Collect all the documents in your favour like electricity bill etc.
