Although your contract with the startup hold the key to the answer but if you have worked for the month you should get your salary for the month irrespective of the fact that it was an indisciplinary action. If because of you some loss has occurred to the startup they could pursue a case against you to recover the losses. Either way that goes your salary cannot be withheld or not given. You can definitely take legal action to get your salary. You could approach the inspector of shops with your complaint.
