Dear Client,

If there is any written employment agreement between you and your employer -- then check a clause whether your employer has taken any indemnity from you; moreover, whether your employer has the right to set off the loss from your salary. If there is no such written agreement, then you may file a complaint to labour officer under the state's shops and commercial establishment act.

Best regards,

Don't you have CC cameras at your jewelry shop please check the same and try to identify the person who has stolen it. Meanwhile show the recordings to your employer and clear his doubt about the same. If your offer letter contains any clause which says that any kind of negligence you are held responsible then you are held responsible for the negligent act as per the terms of your offer letter.
