Working in a Govt IT department and now they are permanently firing us

Hello, I am working in a UP gov IT department from before last 8 years , we are 1200 employee total on contract basic . means we work for gov but salary pay by company ?? but now gov want relieve us for permanently means they say they not have requirement of us . we are 1200 engineers all have Btech MCA and technical qualification ?? now what we do ?? any court suggation ??

You'll have to immediately knock the doors of the high Court to seek a stay order against your department from retrenching your services and the services of the other 1200 employees likely placed. Since you have for a long time for the govt. On contractual basis, they cannot fire you/others anytime at their whims and fancies.
