Working in a company for 4 years forced to do work outside contract
28-Oct-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Sir, I have been working in an organisation for last 4 years an Electrical Engineer (Sr. Executive ). Recently, a new plant head has been appointed and he is changing rules according to his whims. He is compelling us to do jobs involving manual scavenging like cleaning and picking waste material. Does this come under Breach of contract, shall I consider legal option if fired for refusing to give in. Please Advice.
Your employer definitely cannot do that. And he cannot terminate you on this ground. You can refuse this below dignity work and not fear anything. If he takes any step you have enough legal remedies..
