25-Jun-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I Joined a nationalised bank on june 2014. I worked there till january 2015. On january 2015 , i fell seriously ill and stayed on leave till july 2016. After that , i did not join my duty .On february 14 , 2017 i sent my resignation letter by post and got relieved from duty on march 2017. My sick leave has been granted by the bank. Please tell me my work experience will count for 7 months or for 3 years?

Your sick leave has been granted by the employer bank and also after tendering resignation letter you got relieved from your duty on Mar 2017. Your employee may consider paying compensation for the sick leave period as per terms and conditions of employment mentioned in your appointment letter, however there should not be any problem in the part of your employer to provide you experience certificate covering the period from the Date of joining upto the date of acceptance of resignation.
