It is up to you to join the proceedings there or to avoid it as in anyway the result there would always be against you. In case you prefer to abstain from the proceedings then the matter will be referred to labour court for adjudication and there you can appoint your advocate and respond to the allegations of your ex employee. The proceedings at labour court takes long time.

This is my response to you:
1. Is this a government job?
2. If you have removed her without giving notice or without following the proper procedure then you will be answerable for that;
3. Nonetheless you should attend and narrate your part of the story;
4. Make sure no adverse order is passed against you.

You can appoint lawyer to go there and attend and represent on behalf of you.
