What to do in case of documents still with previous employer

Hv submited my file on 1st jan'18 under sinp..in which hv submit my job related docs but hv left that job in feb'18 so now what should i do?should i update them before they ask or should i wait till they ask me for the same
I am very sorry to state that the query you have asked is very ill described and vague. However if you have submitted original documents to any individual or office you have a right to get it back and you can ask for it even in writing with list of documents.
