What to do if employer denies from providing gratuity
30-Jun-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Good day, I was working for the company name Azure Knowledge Corporation from 28th March 2013 till 12th Feb 2018. As i have been honest and loyal employee for this company and i have served good work to them at anytime. On the day of 12th Feb 2018 i was informed by the company that i should not come to the office from 13th as we are doing cost cutting. I got an agreed on this and i have asked them that if i will be leaving this now i will not get my gratuity which is due in the next month, so than they have committed to me that we will help you in this and we will make sure that you get your deserving gratuity. So now when i am asking them to provide me my gratuity they are simply saying no. As they are saying that you must have completed 5 years of your work , which i could not because they asked to leave. So i have worked for 4 years 10 months and 15 days. In regards, i need your help to understand the rules for the gratuity. Many Thanks & Regards
