What to do if company sen d a legal notice

Hello Everyone, In Jan 16 I joined company shriram transport fiance Limited after working 5 days there I fall sick and on march 23 I resigned from company without giving any prior notice and I worked only 5 days there and I was on probation for 6 month. Now they sent me legal Notice for payment of rupee 9750/- for short notice within 7 days. please suggest me what should I do. I also talked HR department in mumbai they said if you need experience letter then only pay otherwise not. But why they sent me legal notice? and what will I do of experience letter of 5 days.

dont worry... you sent a detailed reply on that notice and in notice you have to explain reason to leave company. and also you sent a mail to company to claim your "5 days" experience letter!
