What legal remedy is available for breach of contract by employee

I have terminated my work in between from a firm But breach of contract is still pending And the firm mailing me that they will take a legal action against me. What should I do?
This is my response to you:
1. Firstly one needs to read the terms of your employment as per your appointment letter;
2. Then obtain the labour bond if you have any;
3. Also the employee code of conduct;
4. If you have been wronged then you first send them a legal notice;
5. If they harass you more then approach labour court for harassment by the employer;
6. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
