What can I do if my company terminated me during my pregnancy leave

21-Apr-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have been granted for 6 month maternity leave and I sent an email for rejoining. However my employer has sent me termination before three of completing maternity leave. Is it legal to terminate just three days before maternity leave expire and can I claim my gratuity since I served five year including maternity leave.

The employer can terminate you as the contract of appointment with the employee. Please check the notice period which the employer has to give you before terminating you, because 3 days notice is too short a notice period for any employee. Yes, you can claim your gratuity, provident fund and leaves, if any, before you finally leave your employment as you have worked for a 5 year period.
