A friend of mine I know is working on contract in a Govt undertaking. Two months into the job she was threatened by her boss that he would fire her for incompetency. He verbally abused her in front of her colleagues n called her worse than a 10th grade passout. He has been after her ever since she joined the organization from day1. What legal remedy does she have?
She can make a complaint about her boss under the sexual harassment at workplace act for the abuse which she is receiving from him. She can also bring up this matter before domestic enquiry committee.
