Termination of Service by way of Discharge Simpliciter w.e.f 16th Oct

What kind of legal action can I take on the above termination letter? I accepted that a mistake was made but it was not done intentionally. This was my response, after that I myself resigned from my post with proper notice period. Now when their acceptance should have come, instead of that I am being sent a termination letter. Now what kind of action can I take in this matter?
