Spotted fraud in company. Co. now transferring me and asking to resign

18-Sep-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Working with a private bank as a senior manager for 4 years. 1 year before i reported a fraud in the bank to the seniors. After that i was transferred to another branch and was not given the same role. Now they are changing my profile completely or else asking me to leave. Can i take any legal action against them?

If the private bank is a listed company then it will certainly have a vigil mechanism and whistle blower policy for reporting of fraud. Report the fraud to the concerned authorities within the bank according to the whistle blower policy.
Speak to the HR about your harassment and try to resolve the issue amicably. if these measures don't work, and they terminate your employment contract, you may file a case for wrongful termination.

Hello,
Yes you can initiate a legal action against the bank officials if you can prove that they are troubling you because you put to light the fraud happening internally in bank. But you need to have give sufficient cause for such discrimination.
