Signed bond with the company am I liable to pay the bond amount

I have given cheque of 50,000/- to my company and signed the bond to stay in that company for 2.5 years i did not mention any date on cheque now i left that company and they tried to cash the cheque but there was not any balance in my account so cheque got bounced so now what should i do ?do i have to pay 50,000/- to company or let them do what they can.

As per the recent development in law made by the Supreme Court and various High Courts, such bonds are lopsided and are not legal and enforceable under law.

But since you have issued a cheque, they can file a cheque bounce case against you. You will receive a legal notice. You will have to reply to the legal notice without any fail.
