Service matter in HC can I file RTI to respondents asking for document

I have a service related case in motion in high court can i file an rti to the respondents asking for the document which is related to my case. Is there any harm in filing an Rti by myself. M confused please help.
: Yes, you can file Right To Information for obtaining information but firstly make sure that the said information comes within the preview of Right To Information Act. you can also file for certified copy in the court to obtain the relevant documents
