Salary not released by employer

04-Sep-2024 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi, I have given notice period of 26 days out of 30 days (as per my appointment letter). After so many reminders/ call follow ups, company has not released my approx 57 days salary. I have worked around 8 years in that company (from 17 Nov 2014 to 20 Feb 2023). Kindly advice what we can do???

You need to send a notice to the Company asking for the reasons why they have not issued your salary for the given month. Further you can also ask for the Full and final settlement offer wherein they will provide with you all other things inclusive of your salary and PF, if applicable.

Have you send them official email regarding this. If they are not responding then send them a legal notice for which they are duty bound to respond
Post that if they still deny then you can file a case for recovery amount either to labour commissioner office or in court .

Would advise You to get a Legal Notice issued through a lawyer for release of your legitimate dues with respect to salary and other statutory dues. As per you notice report you had already served 26days. To the maximum they can deduct 4 days salary for short notice

Send a formal written notice to HR, outlining your unpaid salary and previous follow-ups. Review your appointment letter and company policies for support. If there's no response, send a legal notice through a lawyer, or file a complaint if needed.
