Rights if i want to leave company without completing the notice period

I was working in a company and initially agreed to serve for 3 years. I was made to sign an agreement that if i break bond i have to pay 3 lacs. Recently i got another offer where i wish to join. Out my 3 years only 11 months of service is remaining. When i am planning to resign company is asking for 3 lacs Rs. What rights do i have?

You may have left job for whatever reason, However, it is mandatory on you to serve mandatory notice and on completion of notice period you ought to have leave the job. If you left the job without serving mandatory notice, you will have to pay agreed amount to the company if mentioned on the agreement you signed at the time of joining the company
