11-Sep-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I resigned from my post at one Ltd. Company. They had not given me my appointment letter. I work there only for 4-5 days and then stopped. After 15-20 days they called me and askde for my resign. Next day i send ny resignation letter to them and demand form my experience letter and Appointment letter as well. They are saying only after payment of 16000 for notice period, u will get ur letters. Is there any such rule.? Please guide. What should i do? (I have not joined anywhere else).

Please reply to that letter first and say that you owe no dues and you left the company for your genuine reasons. Above all the employer has to prove there was loss because of your absence in company. Unauthorized absence is not permissible, but it is not a reason to ask compensation
