RESIGNATION NOT ACCEPTED AND NOTICE PERIOD MANDATORY TO SERVE

I resigned from company due to family issue and given 10 days notice period but my reporting manager and HR not accepting resgination they asked me to serve 2 month notice period otherwise we will not give you relieving letter as per company policy but I ready to buyback all notice period Is can I take legal action against them if I am ready to pay all compensation..? Is there mandatory to serve notice period while buyback all notice period..?

Well, as per the Standard Employment Contracts, you can buy a Notice Period by paying compensation to your Employer, if one is not able to serve the Notice Period as per the Notice Period Clause of the Employment Contract. In your case, I have to assess the Employment Contract to answer you whether you can buyback your Notice Period or not!
