respected Sir/Madam, i have been removed from my service from coal india limited with effect from 22/05/2017 due to unauthorized absence from duties being cited the reason.but i have served the company in march-august 2018 also and i have received salary for this period too. can the company remove me from services from an earlier date. can i send a legal notice and challenge the decision and can the company remove an employee for long absence.

I would advise you to issue a strongly worded legal notice to the concerned directors of the company for illegal termination followed by a suit for declaration thereby declaring the termination as illegal

certainly not , a company cannot terminate it's employee from back date , in fact from the date he was actually working there. If you are permanent employee of the company then company cannot do so in any manner and you can file writ petition in the hon:ble high court for seeking appropriate directions against the company for your illegal termination. you can have a legal notice sent to the company
