We work in a Telecom PSU since 2008 on contractual basis.Company hired us through through proper channel. We had signed an agreement with Company when we joined for 2 years after those period Contract extend every year on same term & conditions. They deputed us on a Project. That project lasted June 2017.Contract was expired in March 2017. They asked us to still remain on project site and assure us your contract would be extended soon. They didnt extend our contract and not even paid salary of May and June till now.In June/July they asked some project site Engineer to handover the Project to client and instruted us to Report HQ after handover. We reported to HQ after handover. We asked them what sould we do next. They told us to sit and we would tell you .Some sites are still not handed over as they didnt instruted those site engineers for handover. We go to office everyday and sign our attendance in register. Now it has been more than one month & they asking us why are you coming to office

It is your right to claim compensation for the hours that you have worked. While it is correct you may be on contractual employment, the Company, having utilized your services must pay for the same. Rest one can advise upon going through the papers.

They are right if they are asking for your regular arrival over there at the office as your contract is over and you should look for some other job.
However they are extremely wrong that they did not gave you the salary for the month of April to June.
You should send them a legal notice asking for dues and if they reject your claim you should approach the albiur court for the same.
